The Office of Government and Community Relations oversees the University of Baltimore's interaction with government entities and represents UB and the President's Office to external constituencies, including federal, state, city and community interests. In working with federal, state and local entities, as well as community representatives, the office seeks opportunities to collaborate with government agencies and external organizations to advance UB's capabilities and help meet the critical needs of the state of Maryland and the region.
The Office of Government and Community Relations also monitors key legislative issues and activities that may impact the University community. This office provides UB with an enhanced presence with policy-makers, educating the external community and decision-makers about University priorities and funding needs.
