Our online programs allow you to participate from anywhere with an Internet connection without needing to travel to campus. Online courses, however, are not independent-study programs; they're highly structured and require frequent interactions with the instructor and with your fellow students.
Master of Business Administration: As a pioneer of online AACSB-accredited business education, the Merrick School of Business offers the fully online UB/Towson M.B.A. The UB/Towson MBA offers you an opportunity for educational advancement on your own schedule and at your own pace. You can study, participate in class discussions, and submit assignments day or night, weekday or weekend, at your convenience. All fundamental and core MBA courses as well as many electives are offered online each semester. If you complete your M.B.A. online, you'll be completing a customized specialization.
Master of Public Administration: One of only 18 NASPAA-accredited online M.P.A. programs in the nation, our webMPA allows you to earn a fully online Master of Public Administration degree without ever stepping foot on campus. It offers the same rigorous educational quality as do our onsite courses, but with the convenience of being able to access classes from home, work or anywhere with an Internet connection.
B.S. in Business Administration: You can also access the school's highly acclaimed webBachelor’s program, which allows you to complete upper-level business administration requirements entirely online. It’s designed specifically for those who lead busy lives or live and work far from the UB campus. Don’t worry: If you change your mind and want to take a class on campus, you have the flexibility to do so. Your program of study will follow the requirements of the general business specialization. What's a hybrid course?
A number of other UB degree programs offer certain classes online—they are known as "hybrids." Prospective students are urged to contact the Offices of Admission to find out more about all of UB's online programs. Current students: Speak with your academic adviser about enrolling in online classes or specific hybrid courses.
