Scholarships


University Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Maryland residents enrolled as either full- or part-time, degree-seeking students; GPA of at least 2.0; verification of disability; statement of financial need (including FASFA and UB institutional financial aid application)

Submit the required essay directly to the Center for Educational Access.

Scott Morgan Scholarship

Full-time student with learning disabilities (Preference will be given to dyslexic students in the Robert G. Merrick School of Business, but the scholarship may be given to any dyslexic student.); cross-institutional GPA of 2.5, with preference given to students with a 3.0 GPA or higher

Submit the required essay directly to the Center for Educational Access.

Scholarship application deadlines: March 1 for the fall semester and Nov. 1 for the spring semester. Scholarship renewal is not automatic and is subject to fund availability.

General Scholarship for Individuals with Disabilities

The American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) Scholarship Program supports students with disabilities who are pursuing higher education. Preference is given to students who plan to pursue undergraduate/graduate studies in the field of public health, health promotion, disability studies, to include disability policy and disability research.
