Congratulations to Simone Bolton, undergraduate B.A. in Psychology student, who was awarded the 2011 Psi Chi Kay Wilson Leadership Award for Outstanding Chapter Presidents. As the winner, Simone received a $500 cash award and paid travel expenses to the American Psychology Association national convention, this August in Washington, D.C., where she made a presentation.
Sweetening the convention even further, UB's chapter of Psi Chi brought home the national 2011 Alberta Johnson/Ruth Cousins Building Bonds Collaboration Award in recognition of a collaborative effort that made a significant impact at the local, state, regional, or national levels regarding scholarship, leadership, research, and/or community service.
The plaques have been hung; check them out on the second floor of the Academic Center.
