The School of Criminal Justice orients its academic priorities toward integration with the real world, capitalizing on the very real city that acts as an extended classroom. With your degree from one of our three programs, you will be prepared to pursue or further your career in the many federal, state or local agencies throughout the United States that specialize in fields relating to criminal justice, such as law enforcement, courts, corrections or juvenile justice.
Both the M.S. and B.S. programs in criminal justice are among very few programs nationally to be certified by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
Through any of our programs, you can participate in a unique, career-preparatory internship and work with our recognized faculty, who bring their working knowledge of the criminal justice field to UB.
